I am new to this forum and have recently retired so that I can devote more time to playing music and building/repairing amps. I am working on an AS80R that has an intermittent cut out problem. This amp is used for a Martin acoustic plugged into a Electro-Harmonics POG that is plugged directly into the input on the transducer channel. I found a post on another website where 2 different people had the same problem and traced it down to dirty contacts on the loop jacks. I cleaned all of the jacks with contact cleaner, including the POG, and have had the amp on for hours at a time while playing the guitar and have not been able to re-create the problem. Could there be something else I should look at such as some kind of thermal cut-out? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan
