I had one and played my Epiphone instead? It was a nice guitar but I never really liked it! I have a Les Paul now everyone is happy!

Yes they are good. It is a Les Paul with easier upper fret access. The thing with these is that they don't look like a Les Paul so guys shy away from them.

Only 2 knobs though right?

1 volume and 1 tone. In many ways (other then the look for some) these play better than a traditional Les Paul. The necks found on these are typically thinner or "60s style"

I think they are more comfortable to play.

Had one and never really l liked it, 1 volume and 1 tone knob, 24 frets, and something about the neck didn't feel right, it looked great though

There's one at a local shop for $1,300. I've been gassing over it but I don't think I'd like it. I'm too used to a full set of volume and tone knobs. A lot of times when I use my LP I keep the toggle in the middle position and use the volume and tone controls to get the sound I want. I'd really miss being able to roll the tone off on just the bridge pickup.

Well, this really isn't a Les Paul DC, but, I like it. It's a (1980-82?) Epiphone Genesis. I bought it for a $100.00 years ago. I had it refretted with Dunlop tall jumbo fret wire. It sounds pretty damn nice. The only problem is, it is F@#king heavy. It weighs around ten and a half pounds.
