Aside from the normal Neil Peart, Keith Moon, Nicko Mcbrain (my favorite) answers of course! Don't get me wrong, but those are too easy of an answer! (granted, I'm a huge Neal Peart fan) But who do you think drums their ass off and doesn't get the respect you feel they deserve???

My vote goes to Brann Dailor of Mastodon, based on this track alone.

John Bonham
Mitch Mitchell
Ringo Starr

Ringo may not be a heavy hitter or have the best technique, but he is a human metronome and he always plays for the song. His drumming in A Day in the Life is probably my favorite drumming in any song ever.

Ginger Baker, as complex as they come.
Bill Wyman, Ringo Starr & Frank Beard, not flashy but those guys never miss a beat.
I guess I have to add Travis Barker, I had to take my son & his girlfriend to see Blink 182 and he wasn't bad.
