Has anyone used the Fuzz Imp Creature? I have been thinking about getting the Green Russian Big Muff for fuzz, but I really like the demos I've seen of the Creature. It seems pretty versatile. I would assume I would be able to get similar effects as the Big Muff and more by fiddling around with it. And...it looks pretty cool.
Edited for update: I bought the Fuzz Imp Creature. I can't get the sound I want out of it. I can get close but not quite. I'm using the DSL40CR on a clean channel with a Gibson LP. I've tried it on it's own and moved it around on the pedalboard. I'm thinking maybe it's because it is a gated fuzz? It has a velcro/sputter that I can't dial out, even though the demo video seemed to be able to.
Any suggestions on a fuzz for my setup? Like I stated before, I had been looking at the Green Russian Big Muff. I have also been eyeing the EQD Hoof.
