Boomer, but I do like Gen X....
Me too. Gen Xers definitely got the coolest moniker. (the band was pretty good too.)

Can't be mine, that doesn't have tennis balls on the bottom. Btw Gen X here.
Gen X-ratedWhich one are you, be proud and lets see who dominates the forum.
Boomers
Gen X
Gen Y (Millennial)
Gen Z
You saw my profile picture rite!
Saved me a search, gen X for me.Gen X. Had to search for it:
me thinks your maths are off..."Silent": 17 years
Boomers: 18 years
X: 15 years
Millenials: 15 years
.... why does "Gen Z" only get 5? And why is there an overlap with "Alpha"? Also, isn't 15 years pretty darn short for a "generation"?
This is so true. Born in ‘76, I was certainly aware of hair metal growing up, was pretty into Motley Crue and Twisted Sister. However, I came of age around the time of thrash metal peaking and grunge breaking through. So I guess that if your favorite band when you were 16 was Ratt, that separates you from someone whose favorite band at 16 was Soundgarden. There should be a designation for Pre and Post-Hair Metal Gen X'ers because we are NOT the same.
