This is a great example of how quickly leftist will usurp your freedom if you don't push back. Many colleges in the USA right now have these free speech zones where they have to stand in order to speak freely. Freakin crazy. Unfortunately colleges have a lot of leeway to regulate their students like this. You will find the faculty of said colleges to be almost exclusively staffed by activist leftists.

free speech zones were used at colleges going back to the anti-Vietnam war days. Don't think it's just the lefties though; W. used zones a lot particularly after 9/11 and the ensuing wars....anyways the Supreme Court ruled it's constitutional. yippee for us!
