Well, it does say “Epiphone USA”. That price is more in line with a USA or CS model.

Yeah, but a $2,600 Epiphone is more commonly known as a Gibson, lol.

I’ve seen price increases on some items at the online retailer I’ve been using for the past couple years. Since December, Origin and DSLs seem to be up $50 and British models up $100. I bought. PRS Standard 24 in early Jan. The “new” models are up about $80. In fairness, that includes a gig bag and non- plastic nut (which I believe mine has). Import prices may be, in part, accounted for by the value of the dollar/inflation.

Ash may become rare. I live in southern Ohio and over the past few years have pretty much lost all of my ash trees to the emerald ash borer.

I once heard that telephone poles and other wood items that were dumped in swamp areas are now being harvested.
