Help with foot switch and amp. Does anyone know if this is the original foot switch for my amp?

I just picked up this JCM800 head and cabinet. I think it’s a 1987 50 watt head with a slant cabinet. I don’t know if the foot switch is original? It works great. What have I got?

JCM800 head, 50w with a footswitch?
Is that a split channel 2205?
Footswitch should be a 2-button labeled Boost and Reverb.

Is it one of those wacky looking plastic footswitches?
This is the one that came with my 4210.

Image files need to be less then 1M size (use "Attach files" button below) - or paste BBC link from an image hosting site.

If your footswitch looks like the pic I posted, it is probably original.
Any 2-button latching footswitch will work if you want to get a metal enclosure.

That is the best I can do. Hope you can see it
That worked - nice rig. :yesway:
Looks like you have the other strange plastic footswitch.
These were also standards on some models.
Some people consider them "rare" and pay silly amounts of money for them.

I don't turn my reverb off, so I just use a single button FS to change channels on my 4210.
Reverb will stay on with a TS switch in the jack.

Thanks. I tried to put my pedalboard on the amp, but it sounded better just plugged into the head. I talked with the guy whose name was on the foot switch, and he confirmed that he bought the amp new in 87. He had some old pictures and gave me the history of it. The guy I got it from was the guy he sold it to. So I’m only the 3rd owner. There’s a label on the foot switch that has the guy’s name on it, but you can’t see it in the cropped picture. Here’s the name on it.
