Does anyone have correct wiring scheme for a HSS. The pickups are Rio BBQ bridge & 2 Seymour SSL-1 in middle & neck. No coil tapping, but would need to have 500K volume pot for the BBQ.
I found one that switches a 470K in parallel when the SSL-1's are engaged, but it seems to make the single coils pretty weak. Or maybe, I just don't like single coil pickups!
Thanks

I've always used this site for wiring diagrams.
I think this is a standard HSS - they have other variations...

I like HSS, and there's lots of clever schemes possible!

But for a simple wiring on a Strat, I reckon all 250k pots but dedicate the two tones just for N and M. So the Humbucker only sees the 250k volume, which loads it the same way as a conventional pair of 500k for V and T. I also like non-load tone pots.

But my own HSS Strat has more - can discuss further.
