Right now I have a 1960AV 4x12 cab with my DSL 100 but I have been thinking that it may be overkill and I hate moving it around. I have been scoping out the 2x12 Orange cabs and I have been wondering if that will get the job done and how much of a sound difference there would be. Thanks so much.

Orange would be good they use V-30 speakers

2x12's are a little more directional. You might have to angle it up at your head, but you should have all the volume you need. And yeah, Oranges are sweet!

One word: Yes.
A 112 is loud enough to keep up with a drummer, unless you have a very loud drummer.
