Very beautiful and congrats!! Is that Honey Burst? I put the vintage style knobs on all of mine and that pickguard looks great on it. Some people dont like pickguards but I sure do om LPS!

Sure! I got the Gibson knobs right off of the pegboard at Guitar Center. (I wish I had a more prestigious answer for that lol)

Thank you MD! It's an Unburst. I wasn't after a perfect AAA flamed top, just something between that and the 58' I had as a kid. I'm very happy with it!

I had a 1991 Les Paul Classic and did a lot of pick-up swaps until I found something I liked in that guitar. Ended up with Seymour Duncans, a '59 in the neck and Custom 5 in the bridge.
After trying a number of Gibson, DiMarzio and Seymour Duncans in a Les Paul, I have to say that I really love the tone of these 61's in my new Les Paul Standard. Really articulate and to my ears, sounds the way a LP into a Jubilee should sound.

I appreciate your experience with the BB-61's! Although I only have a week of real time with these pickups, I agree, they are very articulate. They also respond well to subtle adjustments to the volume and tone controls, and pickup height on the guitar. I hope my opinion stays the same with time. Especially since I realized, last night, more price increases with aftermarket pickups have occurred.
Congrats, and I think by now you should all know I love some Les Paul Porn. I would call that finish Weizenbiergold.
I'm just a fan of the classic styling.
You could mean there's not much to a Humbucker, after all it's just a Magnet and some wire, and yet it can make such a difference. I can relate, it's definitely a great moment when you have discovered the PU's that work best in a particular Guitar. And now, get yourself a cold one of the same colour as that LP, and enjoy!

Changed the tuner buttons because I like the look of plastic tulips better but ended up putting the heavy kidney beans back on.
