It looks like a late 1967. What is not original?
1) 3 of the 1/2 watt CTS pots? the others are dated from 67, These end in a L1.
2) knobs? Look like early 70s
3) dog bone cap
4) screen resistors
Caps appears to be from 67
Mustards are dated 67
Thoughts?

Looks like a very nice amp!

Maybe you should post this in Let's talk Vintage instead.

I would say early '68 (around February). The preamp filter cap (Erie), along with the rear panel Selectors are replacements. Same holds true for the bypass cap on the volume pot.

When did the selectors change to the ones on there now? Also, is the bypass cap added or replaced the original? Why would you think it Feb of 68? Thanks

The Selectors changed around the beginning of 1969.

Also, is the bypass cap added or replaced the original?
Originally, your amp would have had a 100pF (a brown colored RS silvered mica) bypass cap, so the red one that's in there currently is a replacement of an unknown value.

Why would you think it Feb of 68?
In general, I kind of automatically assume that the 11 series amps started towards the end of January 1968 at the earliest. I've seen a fair share of 10 series 50w amps (forerunner to the 11 series) with D7 & A8 Mullard codes, January '68 filter caps, and February '68 pots which tells me Marshall was still using up earlier production panels into 1968.

It has some strange parts. The 1 watt pots date to middle 67, one of the 1/2 pot is middle of 67. 3 of the 1M have 1M(ohm)LG L1 CTS . I guess December of 71. the Mustard codes that I can see are B6. I don't understand why someone would change out the voltage and ohm selectors and 3 matching CTS L1 pots. I maybe reading the code wrong. Also, the two filter cabs are different sizes. This is similar to the 67 50 I have. the knobs I'm not sure about. The other 68 I have seen have German and 3 holes in the back of the pots. These are solid with not holes or Germany. Thanks for your input. I have been looking at vintage marshals for about a year now. A big learning curve.

No, your reading the pot codes correctly. Who knows why the 1 Meg pots were changed out. The Selectors may have been changed out because the earlier style are more prone to having the plug part fall out. In the one photo you can tell the Selectors were changed out because the mounting screws do not project beyond the nut. The earlier style Selectors used a shorter screw since the Selector thickness was less. Most of the early 11 series amps do tend to have the JTM50 type filtering scheme dispite having a solid state rectifier. So, a 1-inch diameter 32uF/500v filter cap for the mains and a 32uF-16uF/450v cap for the screens & phase inverter.
I'm not following you regarding the three holes in the back of the potentiometers. The large 1-watt RS pots usually have two slits on the back cover. The 1/2-watt RS/AB/CTS pots usually have two perforated crimps on the dish style back cover. I believe the 1-watt RS/AB/Ohmite pots usually have solid back cover, but these are more of a '69 era pot.

Looks very close to mine which is 11068 from Feb 1968. I don't believe that those selectors are correct? Definitely some fooling about there. Mine also doesn't have a terminal strip. If it was me I would be focusing on that green wire coming from the OPT.

What do you mean the green wire? Also, do you know the progress of the knobs? Thanks
