What circuit is a grid slammer? I get really let down when I go to try out a pedal or buy one and realize a day or two later that it is a repackaged version of a pedal I. Already have.

What circuit is a grid slammer? I get really let down when I go to try out a pedal or buy one and realize a day or two later that it is a repackaged version of a pedal I. Already have.

It's a Tube Screamer variant. Closer to a TS9 than it is to an 808. Doesn't rob bottom end like an 808 and doesn't have as much mid hump as either TS does.

Nothing special really. Much more unique and inspiring ODs and boosters out there IMO.
