Wow... EL34. Outstanding choice. Wonder what the iron will look like to be paired with that power section? Just thinking out loud....killer amps!!

I'm pleasantly surprised. That Jube head looks pretty sweet!

I'll be the first to admit I jumped the shark opinion wise.

Well done Marshall!

That's what I'm talking about Marshall....finally. Let's say $899 for a 20-5w EL34 head. The EL84 "downgrade" is what always kills me about the small watt heads. No headroom at all, and you can feel it.

Now rinse, repeat...and keep repeating. Plexi...800....JMP....

Take a look:

marshall-mini-jubilee-970-80.jpg

Featuring preamp circuitry taken from the original Silver Jubilee diagrams, the Mini Jubilee offers high/low output switching from 20 watts to five watts, while the combo utilises a single 12" Celestion G12M-25 Greenback speaker.

Elsewhere, the amps mirror their big brother, with a bass, middle and treble tone stack; presence; output master (footswitch/pull channel); plus lead master and input gain (pull rhythm clip), all via a complement of ECC83 and EL34 valves.

The 2525H head (£799) and 2525C combo (£939) are available now.

I like the look of that head, very promising, I hope it comes in black and gold. Its gonna have to have all the right features to get me to pay $1200 for it, but if it does and sounds good I might just do it.

This is exactly the backup type amp I was looking for:

EL34
2 channel
Higher gain

Now if it only had an oversized OT ;)

This mini jube looks just the ticket!
I had been keeping my eyes peeled for a used small box 25/50 jube head for ages but not seen one for sale.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE IT HAVE FX LOOP!!

EDIT- Doesn't the combo look similar to the SL5?
