My wall of Marshall's is complete for now.
at some point I am going to sell off the 2 triple leads and 2 double leads and replace them with 4 more Marshall JMP 2203 MV heads. For now I'm gonna have some fun with this setup.
Ten 100w heads and ten cabs.
1-1976, 1-1977, 1-1978, 1979, 2-1980 all 100w JMP 2203 heads
2-JCM 2000 TSL 100w heads one is deluxe Voodoo mod the other is stock.
2-JCM 2000 DSL 100w heads.

Good call replacing the 3sl with JMPs.. Then you just need to replace that whole pedal board with just one really good cord. :shred:

Out of your EL 34 heads, do you hear any differences as the years progressed in terms of organic guitar tone reproduction vs added signal noise or what I call the 'Buzzy Bee' loss of tone syndrome. Usually it is way more noticeable come the dawn of the JCM 900 series but I have read there was component changes made by 79 and again in 80-81 that thinned out the depth of the guitars perceived tone. Is there any truth to this or can you actually get your 80's EL 34 heads to sound as rich as your 77-78 EL34 heads?

Always wanted to know if that was true and apparently there is no better qualified man to give an opinion on the subject than yourself. So in advance, Thanks.
