Got this Ashton bass for £40 locally and thought I’d make an EVH striped styled bass. It’s 95% same as a black/yellow EVH guitar and just thought it would look cool.
Total cost was about £140 including the bass.
New graph tech nut, daddario 50-105 strings, evh decal, new bridge, everything else original.
It’s not perfect and again I learn lessons to do with painting and taping etc. I like it tho. Plays ok and sounds ok too. I prefer my other bass neck in general but still it was fun.
