NGD - my first Les

I just picked up my first Les Paul, it is a 2006 Custom Shop version with ebony fretboard and 490R & 498T humbuckers. Nice isn't it?

And silk smooth ebony fretboard..

and Grover tuners..

and overall condition very nice, only minor normal wear..

So far my favorite sound comes with neck pup and JCM 800 2204, it has nice fat crunchy tone. This is a bit heavier than I'm used to, weight is 4,64 kg (10,2 lb) and my main SG is 3,2 kg.. I also noticed that if I need to go to upper frets, my SG 24 does that job a bit easier.

Dude, that LP Custom is just as sweet as mine is!

If I hadn't gone with the Silverburst, I'd have gone the way you did with the Ebony. In fact, if I ever want another LPC, I'll get an Epiphone version in that color/style. Ebony paint with Ebony neck and gold hardware. Very sexy.

I had that same pick up combination originally in my 2007 SG Std, but I switched the bridge pick up (498T) to Angus Young signature Humbucker. That 498T was not bad, I was just curious.
