Ohm question about JVM

I have a speaker cab that runs stereo 8 ohms on each side, my Marshall has a stereo option on it but I'm confused which ones to use? Should I use the "1x4/2x8" option or the "1x8/2x16" one? Any help would be great!

You're cab may have a stereo option (as all new 1960 cabs have),
but the JVM does not.

-on the cab flick switch far left.
-That will be 16ΩMono. Then plug the speaker cable in the right input on the cab. (this is 16Ω)
-Then plug Speaker cable in 16Ω output on the JVM.
