Hi

I am awaiting a used JMP-1 preamp and a 9200 poweramp.
I haven't used rack equipment for a while and would like to know
what type of cable(s) to use from the output of the preamp into the input of the poweramp.

The JMP-1 manual shows two output jacks (to the power amp) and a switch that gives +4dB or -10dB Master output level options.

My guess is to use instrument cable (normal shielded guitar cable), but I am not sure.
As far as the output level switch, I have no idea which setting to use.

Thanks for your help!

Instrument cable is used and unless your running in stereo only 1 output to one input is used.I believe on the 9200 you would use channel B for mono.I use +4db on my JMP-1
