Reverb Turning On By Itself?

So I found a guy selling a Marshall DSL401C for a good price and he's stating the only thing wrong with it is that the reverb will sometimes turn on by itself. Anyone familiar with this issue and if so is this a DIY fix?

Probably just the foot switch jack needing cleaning or replacement.

Yeah, the reverb FS jack.

Wow. That's good know. I'm thinking even if there was an issue with the on-board reverb, I could just have it on a very low setting so that if it did come on the change wouldn't be noticeable. Thanks

Nah. I think it is probably T6 or IC4 issues if the problem can occur without the footswitch plugged into the jack.

Ask about that.
