Been running Linux for years. Currently running Zorin OS 9.
I think it is great how well it runs on older hardware.
It is also nice to get a distro that can update itself regularly.
Like I said earlier, I am liking Ubuntu 14 a lot.
I need to edit the boot menu tho, I want it to default to Win7.
Where do I change that?
I have not heard of Zorin.
Me neither.
Another reason why I keep postponing my next box: new distros - might be cool but I have not been keeping up with developments.
I googled it , I found an Ubuntu hand book. This might not work for you because of the version. I don't know.

Don't feel bad.
I still have a Pentium Pro system downstairs running RedHat 5.something.
Interfaces a repeater (Ham Radio) system with the Internet.
Why bother fixing something that ain't broke?

My feeling too.
But I have to worry about how long the hardware will last.
It's all business and mission critical around here: my worries are about how 'exposed' I am to hardware failures.
