my peavey KB/A 15 (8" speaker) and Laney cub 10 (10" speaker) had better bass than this thing, it's not the speaker's fault...

Players looking for more bass, or lower frequencies out of their (10") combos, I suggest that if your play your combo in on casters, removed them.
To get even more bass frequencies with a fuller sound, there is an option of building a redirectional stand for an open back combo, in which it takes your sound and throws it to the front. It's a little bulky, but should satisfy maxing out a (10") combo in your own home. (IOW it is as inexpensive as a guitar pedal, but takes a little in carpentry skills.)
