SC20H Tube Rolling Question

Good day everyone! Well here in Florida we have a little storm coming through, so I'm going to have some time on my hands...

I have an old Peavey Tube Pre-Amp I assume from the late 90's or early 2000's and it has some older 12ax7's in it. Does anyone know anything about these tubes and if you do, do you think they would they make any difference in the sound?

Try them and find out. Impossible to say whether they'll make (much) difference and how. Plug and play.

Early shugangs. Likely to be bright and fuzzy/fizzy. But sometimes that's the ticket.

Not yet, my wife found some things that needed to be done then cleaned up after the storm. Still may...

Get the Hot Mod V2. Changes the amp to a gain monster.

KT88 (or 6550) power tubes, RFT in V1 and JJ in the rest plus Mr scary hot mod.

I like fitz's suggestion, but I've never done anything like that so I wouldn't know.
