1979 JMP 100 watt.
The thing is I bought the 2210 for a good price had it re-tolexed and new power tubes put in, biased. And I still have less than $1k in it.
Now I have a chance to trade my "2210" for a 1979 but theowner said it's ohm selector is hardwired to 8ohms.
But he is willing to trade straight across, would it be worth it to trade and have it fixed back to stock.
Or would I be getting into a fixer upper after I already fixed up my 2210?

Wow. I like my 2210 more than my JMP 2204. Tough question. Depends on the sound you're looking for.

The difference lies in the circuit. The 2210 is a different beast from a JMP.

Is this a 4 hole JMP or a MV, horizontal input 2203 style?

It's a 2-hole vertical input MV
And the thing is I love my 2210 I just need to get one of my power tube sockets replaced. As it has old charring on it. But it oozes tone.
I'd like to use it in my 80's metal cover band, but am not using it until I get the socket sorted out.
I would like to have both, but can't at the moment.

The frozen hell called Canada !
I loved my 2210 ( 1987 year ) , killer amps !!
I used to get compliments on my tone .... ( My playing not so much !)

But ...

I did finally give into the power & Tone of the 6100 , and that was 1998 !
