I'm thinking about ditching the Fuzz Face as it doesn't see a lot of use and it takes up a lot of space on the board. It can stay though until I need the space or find a better fuzz.
Guitar into Polytune, into custom loop pedal. Loop 1 = Digitech TL2, Loop 2= Rocktron Metal Embrace, Loop pedal out to head.
Effects send (from head) into Rocktron Hush, Into MXR EQ, into Moog Chorus, Delay, TC Reverb, back to effects return of head.
The Loop pedal is either true bypass or buffered (toggle switch selectable).
Case from Cases Plus, I added the foam from some other products that arrived...enough room for the head footswitch (if needed), the effects loop/power supply snake, and the instrument cables...batteries...wireless...rubbers whatever.
Power supply underneath...the loop pedal also has a parallel power out jack to supply another pedal.
On the Fuzz Bubble, I set the Pete side with just a touch of hair to get that Ronnie Wood/Faces brown sound.
The Jimi side is more aggressive. There's more of a fuzzy "Foxy Lady" setting.
Very Jimi Fuzzface.
Nice diversity.
I usually set the 70 Fuzz mild......a bit of fuzz grain without the full fuzzy blare rage.
There's a cool silicon fuzz tone.
It's a more modern "Jimi" than the 69 Pedal.
My 70 Pedal is a '97 direct buy from Fulltone.
My 69 Pedal is an earlier release that I bought used before the price got out of hand.
I remember being shown my first Hammond Organ/Lesslie combo as a kid. I was mesmerised but the analog/mechanical nature and the effects it gave my friend.
Now I want a EHX Lester G too!! That demo sounded great with Dolly Dagger. My favorite Hendrix tune!
The Digitech "Crossroads" pedal has a pretty good "Badge" setting.
Gigging days are long gone, but I still enjoy tinkering. I upgraded my boards from Furmans to Temple Audio Trio 28s last year. Temple has an slick mounting system. It's the accessories that gets your $. For rotary, i'm using an Empress Nebulus. I typically use the PitchFactor for modulation. The Nebulus rotary is pretty convincing, not as flexible as the EH but it has it's place. The zero thru flange is nice.
