Part of me wants to yawn here, but I don't want to be a jerk. Another pedal promising the "brown" sound. I dunno, but an endorsement from a Van Halen guitar tech whose name is not Rudy Lairen, I can't take seriously. Rude is probably the guy all the boutique pedal companies need to talk to.

Wampler Pedals are EXTREMELY good. They aren't cheap either. $200 Plus.

Went with a Plextortion to drive my Harmonyman pedal. Not bad at all.

Fuzz pedals aside i don't like distortion pedals but i was blown away by Pinnacle.

I had a Pinnacle for a about a week. Sold it. The only distortion pedal I've ever played that does a convincing Marshall tone IMO is the MI Audio Crunch Box. I've never been much of a distortion pedal fan tho.
