My amp is a JCM2000 TSL 60 watt head. I will take it over the 100 watt anyday. The reasoning is that I can push my amp harder and get amazing tone without blowing the walls over and killing everyones ears at gigs. At home I can still get great tone at low volumes. The 100 watt amps sound great too dont get me wrong but for me they are way too loud. If I was out on tour playing arenas and stadiums then I will take the 100 watt head but thats my opinion.

The perfect wattage for me is my Vintage Modern 2466, which is four KT-66 tubes: 77W clean, 100W ovedriven.

6100 on pentode 100 watt is the best sound, don't know why except it punches, kicks ass, even at lower volumes, the way to go...

To me they are fairly different now. I use them both, won't be without either of them and then in different flavours as well (aka, 1959 & 1987; 2203 & 2204; JTM50, JTM45, ... )

Thanks for all the responses/advice.

I went with the 100 watt. I can't wait to get it.
