I think they got their best tones on Garage Inc. Sounds like almost all Wizard to me.

Kill'em All an origin 50 + tube screamer will get you close.
It was recorded with james modded superlead that was stolen later, probably had master volume added and another gain stage.
ride the lighting to the black album is mark IIC+ going thru an EQ (V shape scooped mids) + to an EL34 JCM800 fx loop (probably 2210 or a modded 2203)
Also the main ingredient is James Hetfield legendary rhythm guitar playing.
