4x12. Fuller tone, sledgehammer mids. At least that's what my ears tell me.

4X12's RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Basketweave 4X12's w/G12H 30watters, one per head for the added compression and speaker distortion that makes my Strats sound alot thicker with less twang!

i prefer 4 12s. i know bassists seem to dig 4 10s more cuz its alot tighter sounding ..but for guitar it just doesnt do it for me. i like using full stacks altogether tho. :)

I have a 1990 1960A cab the tope two speakers are G12M Greenback Heritiage, and the bottom two are G12H 55hz Greenback Heritiage
I can run two on the top on stereo or the two bottom speakers, or all 4 on Mono. Those top two Heritiage Greenbacks are only 20 watt,
but im now using a 40 watt amp. Before i was using it with a JCM 800 and a 900, kind of pushed them too hard, but now with the 40 watt
im not worried about blowing them. Im thinking of replacing them with Creambacks so i can use my 100 watt head again

Playing out / stage work, I too like a good 4-12" setup. (2 depending on the size of the gig) But I still like a 2-12" or even 2 1-12" cabs for everything else. 4-12"s are such a pain to move around as well, the older I get the bigger the pain.

I liie the 4x12 too, however, in most venues I play here they are too beamy. A 2x12 is an excellent compromise and on stages with limited space a vertical 2x12 with an angled top takes up no more real estate than a 1x12 and is angled so I can hear it.
A couple venues here a 1x12 is just fine. I use my combos everywhere too.

A 4X12 of course. Like every body. But these days in some places a 2X12 it's enought. 1X12 open back for practice. I'm lucky I can practice with a 4X12 too.

I just love my Fender Bassbreaker 212 cab. Sounds great and easy to move. Definitely a playing out cab.

However if im showing up to an outside gig/jam? So’s my 412. If I can give it the beans, I want my rock to roll up her loins.

Shooby.
