My Haze 40w.

It's the first Marshall that I've owned that I opened up and and made sound the way I wanted it to. New Tubes, new speakers.

Once I learn how to bias an amp myself I will be completely satisfied.

I have to vote for the DSL40C. I think it slays the DSL401 big time. This thread has me GASing to try out a JVM though!

I have owned;
4210
4203
TSL 602
Lead 20

I still have the Lead 20, the rest are gone.

I miss the 4203 (artist) the most. Thick heavey gain although the cleans were thin and unusable.

Couldn't get the 4210 to sound anything but thin and brittle.

The TSL60 was a little dark but versatile.

The Lead 20 sounds hella good for a SS and under $100. No need to sell, perfect cheap practice amp. :)

I vote for the VM2266C, because I have one and love it.

If I could afford one, I'd get a "Baby Bluesbreaker" 1973X (I have a thing for 2x12" combos; 1974X and 1958X also great) for the classic styling and hand-wired construction.

Marshall SL5.
Don't really care for the rest. I wanted to buy the DSL5C (5 watter) but three of them buzzed, rattled or hummed in varying degrees right out of the box at the store. I wasn't impressed.

If I had my pick, I'd have to go with the 4 channel 1x12 jvm... But I will be very happy with the dsl40c when I get one. It is easy to make it sound the way I want and won't break the bank.

My DSL 50. But if I ever try a YJM or AFD I might change my mind. I played an 800KK and it also could be on the list, but I'm not in a straight metal band now so it may not be the most useful.

I also never played a 6100 and I'm curious about them.

Right now I really like my SL5. It's a great little killer combo with a nice range of tones.

Holy trail for me is a JCM900 MKIII 2x12 50 watt. Love that sound.

I really liked the Class 5, too. Should have never got rid of it but it was buzzy.

Right. Like I said, they rattled like a snake. Marshall tried to fix that, but then afterward they raised the price a hundred bucks. They soon realized no one wants to spend $500 on a 5 watt amp with no particularly special features. Too many better amps to drop 5 bills on.
