Your Favorite Marshall Amp

I have a few Marshalls amps. I think that my favorite is either the Marshall 2555x Silver Jubilee or the 2466 Vintage Modern. I would take those even over my 2203 and 2204.

What is your favorite Marshall amp?

My '69 Plexi, of course. Yeah it's loud but when I'm in the mood to deal with that, it earns its place at the top of my list every time I play it.

I have four Marshalls: AVT20, JVM205C, JVM410H, and a 1980 2203

My favourite is the JVM410H for it's great tones and flexibility. It has a few mods which make it a bit more "classic" sounding!

So far my JMP 2203. It's my first and only real Marshall, but ever since I got it, I've been plugging into every Marshall I can find. All have been reissues and a couple of the studio series and none have come close to that old JMP. Haven't plugged into a "holy grail" 59/87 amp yet, something with old iron and such. Someday. Hopefully.

A vintage Marshall 1962 Bluesbreaker or 1974 or 1973 combo would be my “Hit the Lotto” dream amps.

After those, a vintage hand-wired; JTM45, JMP 1986, JMP 1987, or a Marshall Astoria and a JMP 2204 (In that order).

I currently own both a hand-wired ‘73 Marshall 1987 and a Marshall Astoria Classic (in a Bluesbreaker cab). Guess that I have a good start on owning my favorite Marshall’s.

Prolly the JVM410. It can sound very close to any of my other Marshalls and more.

JVM, so far. Sounds great, can easily do a bunch of different sounds.

Could be open to something else though, if it has good clean, great drive, and a simple fx loop that works perfectly.
