    To me Van Halen is just a buncha flash. Randy structured out his songs so much better and originally. Van Halen songs all fit a pattern more/less. Both good guitarists, Randy's better. But still a Van Halen fan too.

    I use a MXR Wylde Overdrive....and NO its not just some shit signature pedal it actually is a really good pedal when used as a clean boost for that 80's metal sound or turn up the gain for a thrashier sound. BTW I use it with my DSL50

    Got home today let the DSL warm up hit standby on and tried to play no sound. Took pedal board and cable and guitar out of equation. Sound DOES come out of speakers, just a gentle buzzing sound. Let cool off replaced V1 and V4 preamp tubes and checked the power tubes, nothing wrong with them...

    Could be the OT, when mine was fluctuating volumes it was cause I fried the OT but not all the way.
