Re: Who can tell me more about thiMarshall cabin with 2 orange colored Celestion spea
So I just picked up one of these cabs. One of my speakers, (the same red framed, marshall logoed as pictured above) is damaged and not functioning. How difficult is it going to be to find one of these? Anyone...

I picked up a older 2x12, one speaker works...
Thanks Clammy, yeah I've been thinking about that. Maybe... One is wasted and the other is useable but missing its stud. There's a guy on ebay selling the studs, but when you add it all up that about $56 for one beat up partial caster. I was hoping someone here might have better option for...
To catch anyone up who may be watching. Unsoldered one leg off the bright cap on the channel A volume pot. Made all the difference in the world. Sounds amazing. Thanks!
Yeah, it's different. Good different. I love reverb, I've owned a bunch of amps over the years, I'm building a stand alone fender clone now; the reverb this one has is sort of in a league of its own. Anyhoo. I figured I'd chime in about the amp as, the top of the thread seemed to be loaded with...

I thought I'd post a reply to this forum "All about". I've got one of these, its a great amp, I'm not sure about all the claims above. If anyone has any questions let me know. I would disagree with PeeWee, I think the reverb is awesome.
Thanks.
Hey thanks guys, when i bought it the amp was set up with el34s even thought the transformer stated "only use 6550s". Had it altered slightly to accept the 6550s and be biased correctly, added a diode? To the bias circuit. Forgive my ignorance i dont know what the small little tubular thing...
The metro amp link says its cerca 69. The drtube says 70. Will the values and such be the same on mine? (seeing that mine was built ~5 years later?)
Thank you guys.
John
Yep, it says MKII on the back. It doesn't say model 1987 anywhere. Thanks for your help!
Mickey,
No I don't know how to work on amps really, I was hoping to track down the correct schematic so I can bring it to my amp tech. I figure that would be best.
cheers!
