So What Is The Dang Difference Really?

Ultimately, my advice to ANYONE considering a new or used guitar is to simply judge that instrument based on it's own merits, certainly NOT where it was made. Leave your preconceptions AT HOME...forget what your buddy or your brother or father or teacher might have told you, because YOU are the...

Is Deoxit available in stores too? Wasn't sure where to look for it, or in what section if it is.

Best Use Of Boss Ns-2 And Noise Suppressor With Marshall Distortion

I agree with it being before all, except once in a while I throw my EQ before the NS. Keep changing my mind about that one, but seems like week to week it sounds different, lol. For sure in front of the rest though, as anywhere else degrades the signal too much.

Nad - Jvm1h Tattoo Series - Vicky Morgan

Do the boards make a difference when used on the floor too, or just on another riser first? Never knew about these until a few weeks ago, so am trying to find out more about them now. First person I've seen that is using them, so hoping you can fill me in on them.

    Dsl 100h Tube Question

EL34 and ECC83 are stock, so maybe just a different brand is making it sound different? Or the bias is off as mentioned above.

    Guitar picks

I started using Cat Tongues (black and red), can't remember the mm at the moment based on others telling me about them and love them! Tortex is useable, but the CT I love. Tried forever to make myself like the Dunlop Gels, but could not hang onto them. They kept spinning in my fingers and I...

    Guitar Set Up

Joe Walsh never gets the credit he deserves for the knowledge and ability he has. Awesome video, never saw that before. Will have to check for more now. And will always love him as Ed on the Drew Carey show, absolutely hilarious, lol.

    What Cables Are You Using?

Are the wireless systems battery powered only, or DC too? I still don't really need a wireless system, but would like to be free to move about as I please, but don't want to rely on battery power only. Have never used a wireless, so I'm asking questions.

    New Dsl100h's

Definitely liking mine so far, I'm not playing the same type of tunes as you mentioned, but totally satisfied with it so far on the rock side of things. I'm pretty sure you'd be happy with it. Any other heads you're looking at to compare what else you're thinking of?

Is An 80s Jcm800 2203/2204 Any "better" Than 2203 Ri??

Agree with all of this completely. And, another consideration. It may be an 80's amp you get, but it is also 30 yrs old. Anything that may need to be done to it if something goes wrong, is not going to be replaced with parts also 30 yrs old, so you will be getting into modern day parts anyhow...

What do you use to record with? Looking to do some myself, and was wondering what you were using here. Sounds great.

    Angus Young Marshall Rig 2016

Thank you! I seriously was asking why that many, as I wasn't sure how an arena sized set up was done. Just assumed that only one was needed, along with a backup. And since he does use that many, how are they hooked in series together? Since you only have one signal coming in, how does each stack...

    What Cables Are You Using?

Thanks guys. I've been using PlanetWaves for the last little while, mostly because I really like the circuit breaker built into the connector. No issues with swapping guitars. I've had 20ft lengths for the most part, but seems lately like I'm always wishing there was more. Can't justify going...

    What Cables Are You Using?

Just wondering what cables everyone is using from guitar into the system. (For those who don't use wireless that is). Wondering what gets you the best bang for the buck, and what length do you use too? Want to try something new, as it's time anyhow, but looking for some input.

    Marshall Switch Position

Could be worse, lol. My DSL 100 has the Standby switch marked Off/On, but works exactly opposite to normal. Set to Off is in Standby mode, set to On is normal operation. Just like how the cabinet connections are marked left/right as if viewing it from the front, lol. Goofy considering you can't...

    Angus Young Marshall Rig 2016

So they are running real cabs then? That many heads makes sense that way, but most acts now in stadium settings just run into PA systems, so multiple heads then doesn't seem needed.

    Angus Young Marshall Rig 2016

With most bands using dummy cabinets just as stage props, why do they have more than one or two heads racked up, if they only go through the PA anyhow? I'm asking honestly, as I always wondered what the job of this many heads actually is. One or two is understandable, but why this many?

    Squier Telecaster Serial Numbers

I spent most of the morning researching, just to see what I actually got, and what kind of deal too, haha. Turns out, it's a 2012 Classic Vibe Custom 50's Telecaster. Black with white PG and double binding, rosewood board. Didn't dig more to get pickup info, but doesn't matter. Loved it as soon...
