As far as I know, it was only the batch of version5 mainboards that were made of the wrong material, so your version10 mainboard should not have this issue.
I cannot confirm this, however.
If you have the version 5 mainboard, you might either want to replace it or fix it.
The first option might appeal to you if you live in the UK or have extra cash that needs a new home.
If you want to fix it yourself or give it to your tech, follow the advice of Fred Hullerum. I did.

Yes, I have the Issue5 Mainboard that loses its isolating capabilities when exposed to high temperatures. Over the weekend, I managed to repair this (The Marshall TSL122 TSL100 thermal bias drift repair page).
The KT77s were about a year old and I could not bias both sides lower than 95mV...
KT77s give you a cleaner, more complex clean sound.
Overdriven however, it depends on personal preference IMO.
KT77s have a less pronounced midrange than EL34s but add more low end and smooth out the top end. As such, my alt & prog benefit from the heavier, modern sound I get with them...
My aging set of KT77s could not hold the bias anymore and I had to replace them with EL34s temporarily. No matter what I did, I couldn't get that lovely clean sound out of my TSL122 that the KT77s gave me anymore.
I am definitely ordering new ones this week.
Dear Marshall UK owners,
my JCM 2000 TSL 122 Mainboard needs to replaced. In the UK, it goes for £35. In South Africa and Germany, I have to pay more than double that amount.
As such, it seems preferable to buy it in the UK. However, Marshall UK only serves UK clients. This might be too...
Yes, but assuming that these are in working order, would the procedure described in the link fix the problem if it is indeed due to the limited isolating capabilities of the board's epoxy material?
I will still check the resistors and the bias board connections this weekend; but if Fred...
My TSL122 suffers from bias drift because of the version5 mainboard.
Apparently, milling away the area around the pin 5 sockets on the (version5 :P) mainboard:

Has any forum member ever performed this?
I wanted to attempt this...
Already tried them. They don't have it, unless their online catalogue isn't comprehensive.
I e-mailed their sales department; perhaps it is available upon special request.
Thanks, I googled the part number, but it only showed up forums concerning amp modifications/repairs and links to the schematic on drtube.com
Perhaps I'll give this a try:

My TSL 122 has the issue 5 mainboard.
In the UK, this board apparently goes for around £30. In South Africa, the lowest deal I can get is around R3000, which equates to £240 or 380$. Needless to say, this price is excessive in comparison to the UK offers.
Does anyone know of a fairly cheap...
If the noise disappears when the preamp section is bypassed, it's probably due to some preamp tube(s) that just lost its(/their) kick. Switch some around or replace them to see if this leads to a decrease in noise.
Not to keep you from modding the dsl, but..... vintage does not equal used.
Vintage gear is gear from whatever era you define as vintage. Or a remake of a vintage amp, perhaps. The DSL is neither.
14 years only qualifies as vintage with technologies that develop at rapid rates; tube amps...
If the volume pedal is in the loop, it will only affect the volume if the loop is active.
Yes, you could still use the B input and/or output, provided you use another amp/input instrument/input instrument pickup.
