    Made the pile bigger.

Picked up a B cabinet today, deal was too good to let go. Another 1960 Lead, with 75's too. Again, did not need it, but sometimes you just gotta. Time to meet the neighbors, lol.

    Non-Classic Rock Marshall Fans.

What bands, former/current, have you been in? Seeing you're from Saskatoon I'm sure I must have seen you play at some point. Meant to ask long ago, but kept forgetting, lol.

Tackled My First Fret Leveling .

Does the crown filing not put the frets out of level again? I watched a couple videos where they filed down quite a bit to level them, so I wondered if the crowning process would throw this out again.

    Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster

I hadn't ever read up on this one before. Why in the world would someone just decide to repaint someone else's property, especially with no asking at all? Wow, can only imagine how that went after coming back and finding out!

Whats The Most Affordable Gibson Les Paul Solid Wood?

I recommend the book 'How to make your electric guitar play great' by Dan Erlewine to learn how to do basic set ups and diagnose problems like these. Is there any difference in this book from First to Second Edition, other than the publication year? Saw both available, so just wanted to check...

    What About Peavey

Was a Scorpion. I still have mine. Was one of the first 65s' made in 82. Traded off my Decade on it, that thing too for a 10watt was a loud little box, lol.

    Who Makes You Wanna Play?

Asking this question to see how diverse everyone is. What 5 players (just a random number) that the second you hear them, make you want to drop whatever you're doing and go burn up some strings? And this isn't the usual who's better than who, oh that guy sucks, thread, so please don't slam...

    Playing To An Empty Bar

Pre-promotion is great, but the band will always make its own energy. I've gone to shows where the band was hyped and promoted beyond all belief, and it totally sucked. Flip side I've also gone into places not even knowing a band was going on, with no one there, and it was the best show ever...

History Vs The Internet ....les Pauls

The WWW can be such a wealth of info, but it can also be a huge detriment at the same time. Opinions get put up on anything, and it becomes sheep herd/follow the leader/mob mentality, however you want to word it. Researching something is great, but it is still the best to go out and try things...

    It Sucks To Be Right/dsl40cr!

With the foot controllers plugged in you guys can still use the front panel switches to change states? I would think that would be a bad thing to do, if the foot controller is plugged in. I am thinking you should not try switching channels and such on the front panel once the foot controller is...

Figured You Guys Might Get A Kick Out Of This...

Picturing the opening scene of Back to the Future, lol. Cool, but not, at the same time.

    1983 Marshall Jcm 800 2205

I didn't hear any line noise, that was why I asked just to see. Really like how it sounds though. :)

    Dsl Or Jcm800

Like has been mentioned in other replies, it will depend what all you are looking to use. I was in the same boat, choosing between the 2203, and the DSL 100H. I knew what the 2203 could do, and I tried the H and found for me the sound was close enough to what I wanted along with the effects loop...

    ;

Funny how the first thing I thought of when reading the title was I wonder how close that would be to an early Ratt sound, and you open with Lay It Down, lol. Are you running any noise supressors at all? Just wondering how much line noise you're getting when not actually playing. Cool stuff!

    Did Early (1981,usa-made) Jcm800 2203's Come Stock With 6550 Or El34's?

Would tubes even be considered as a warranty covered item? Not saying they weren't just seems that they would be more like an owners expense replacement, like oil changes on a car, or brake pads. I never had the chance to run these amps back then, so no idea.

    Another Wireless System Question

Thanks everybody! Was just something I hadn't seen asked or come up in regards to a wireless unit, so knew people here would have more info. Wasn't going to change my mind either way, will still be going with one sooner or later. Thanks again!

    Another Wireless System Question

Still looking into picking up a wireless system to get away from the cables and give me more freedom to move around. Was just wondering if the noise suppressor pedal will still be needed after making a switch? I realize the guitar can still have noise depending on the electronics, along with...

    The Infamous Gibson Tuning Problem

I believe that for sure. Will have to do some more researching on it and see what I can learn. Thanks!
