    JMP-1 lead setting for newbie ??

    I tried them both with a Strat and they are both pretty good. The blues one works better for me with the gain on 9. The lead patch is very good. Very fluid with great sustain. I have plenty of empty patches so I am going to leave them both loaded. Cheers.

    I have a mate who builds amps and cabs. He built the AX84 HI-Octane from this site and it sounds very good. I want to have a crack at the November model. Just keep in mind, valve/tube amps have leathal voltages, even when unplugged from the mains.

    They are both reissues of the 1959 superlead "plexi". The second one is hand wired, hence the extra cost.
