Are my YouTube links working? How do you post the video here. All I can do is the link

I just "copy" the URL and paste it here. I notice that on the links you're posting, there's an "m" instead of "www". Are you on a mobile?

Anybody remember christian heavy metal band Stryper?

YouTube - Stryper - Soldiers Under Command [Live in Japan 1985]

Saw them a few times, bought a few albums, used to jam on this song. They would throw bibles into the crowd. Michael Sweet was a really good singer, and his brother Robert on drums always faced the kit to the side so everyone could see him.

Yes listening to them this week! First albums were very good, later albums flagged a bit. they did a Christian Music Festival called Greenbelt when they first came to Europe, then they did a support tour to none christian audiences and threw the bibles into the crowed.... for the first two gigs! Then they had to stop... everyone was throwing them back at them!:lol::lol::lol:
I suppose a bible no matter how small is weighty in words!

Killer Dwarfs from Canada and guy Mann dude that album had a song called clusterf@ck if I am not mistaken?:lol::lol: Obviously a bit of Clint Eastwood worship there.

Yes you will and I will take the blame. If it wasnt for these bands we wouldnt have anything to bitch about now. I was a closet Metallica lover back in the day but loudness, kick axe, dangerous toys werent to bad. Now I'm in my mid 40's, i think what the hell was I on.

You guys are killing me here!

Black N' Blue - Rock On
Krokus -Headhunter was on full rotation for a long time.
Fastway were awesome. The Trick or Treat soundtrack was massive as far as soundtracks go, and I listened to it last week.
Stryper had insane harmonies and Oz Fox had some killer chops. My favorite was THWTD. Never been a christian, but the music was solid.
Frehley's Comet

The rest of the hair metal in the 80's wasn't that obscure, while there were many one-hit-wonders, they were rather well known. White Lion for instance... Vito Bratta was an excellent source of inspiration in the 80's.

Been catching up here on the boards.

Do you know how much Paul Mitchell freeze and shine I went through in the early 80's. You were always guaranteed to get lucky with the one power ballod they all had to do.
