Is it just me or did that tone kinda suck for that tune?

PS: I like Slash usually

Not just you, it did kinda suck but more cos the mix was wrong.
I'm not a Slash hater either.

The horns completely drowned him out, they were playing a supporting part so it sounded weird to me.
You just can't really hear him. He was mixed quite low.
Even the bass was drowning him at times.
The solo wasn't bad.
Might be my lapop speakers but was there a half cocked wah element to his tone the whole time too?

The singers facial expressions were freaking me out!!

Wish they would shove the horns in their a$$!

AMP sounds great.

Yeah, the mix was a joke. I would fire the guy/girl!

That didn't sound much like the 'Slash tone' I've liked in the past. Actually, it reminded me of when I ran a tube preamp into a SS amp. The mix really killed it all though.
Horsn? Ya, they should have sat this one out.

The drummer was trying to upstage everyone. The Heavy Metal drums he provided to that song was unprofessional.

Fucking sound guys. They are always turning the guitar down. Guitars need to be loud. Fuckers.

He was driven MAD by the awesome Slash Tone!

Really Slash should take legal action. That drummer had as much groove as a three legged dog. :hippie:

That drummer could learn something from this drummer: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiqAoxJeltk&NR=1[/ame]

May have been his stage volume was loud and the soundman couldn't put that much of him through the mix. However the band was WAY to overbearing ,no dynamics ,seems each guy was playing like it was the last time they would ever play.I guess they were a little over excited to play with Slash . Slash did not look to impressed.
