DSL = Dual Super Lead................a quick Google search would have saved y'all some embarrassment. LOL!
would be ok if i put the list like this in the list? This bit needs serious tweak:
MY 1963
JTM45 offset prototypes with coffin logo, RS trannies and output 5881 tubes-> first production models with white front coffin logo and KT66s
MY 1964
Split front coffin logo->smooth vinyl and silver Maroon logo
MY 1965
JTM45 with Gold Block logo
also introduced was the 8-input 1963 Model Super PA with KT66s all still about 30w.
First Bluesbreakers with trem (1962 with 2x12 and 1961 with 4x10 thick sided combo cabs). As you suggest the 4-hole PA was 1985, the Bass 1986, Lead 1987 and Organ 1989.
Half way through the year trannies changed to Drakes.
The 1963 became the JTM50PA MkIII but (AFAIK still KT66s)
The first JTM45/100 100w dual Drake OT PA amps introduced in Autumn '65 with script logo and RS mains tranny (although Pete Townsend had some Gold Block logo Supertrems before that).
MY 1966
Still the same line up with more 100w options (Trems, Lead, Bass and PA) with single OT and big Drake PT.
The JTM45s pretty much the same, minor changes and alloy block chassis at end of year.
MY 1967
The 50w amps came in using EL34s (again Lead, Bass, Trem and PAs) and after short run of block alloy 50w the steel JTM reverse logo amps.
The 100w also got transformer changes and EL34s (again rapid transition of different versions and about same time the steel chassis)
MY 1968
The Dagnall transformer change over completed with the first split cathode lead 50w and 100w amps introduced to join the other models.
All the above are strictly plexi models apart from the early JTM45s which had polished and engraved aluminium chassis, followed by short run of Traffolyte panels.
Summer 69 Metal panel amps introduced, initially same spec.
Lots of changes and mods left out but you get my drift? if anyone has a true 64 BB then please chip in - they may be out there and I am unaware.
Can you tell more about the lead 12?Weird...
I currently own 4 Marshall amps and none of them are on the list...
JMP 2203
Haze Mz15
Lead 12
AS50r Acoustic
Can you tell more about the lead 12?
Totally forgot. About the haze and acustics ones!
