ts9, delay and an EQ is really a part of my tone so kinda must have. Everything else is just icing. Some songs really need a wha and for that I use an OG Bad Horsie. I have a chorus on my board but most songs that have it can get by without it. I really like my trelicopter but only ever use it on a couple songs but it sounds great when I need it.

Essentials are just a Belle Epoch tape delay and a Super Fuzz. Most dirt I get from my amps.

My actual board setup right now is CB Wah (modified), Rat2, Super Fuzz (Univox clone), Ventura (Univibe), and Belle Epoch delay.

For home use I have an off-board Immerse MKII reverb that I run through the loop of my amps. Not a huge reverb fan but I like a good plate emulation for creating a haunting space when I'm feeling it.

Oh, and a TU-2, which obviously isn't an effect, but I mention it because the buffer in it helps my wah and SFuzz get along.

A noise gate.

I tried a Boss NS-2 to begin with but I think I got a duff.
It produced a volume drop when engaged and using the in-built loop was a volume squelch disaster.
Replaced it with an up-front TC Sentry and it's here to stay.
The Zoom MS-70CDR at the back end of the chain has one too.
They make chugging a dream.

Rimrock Mythical Overdrive. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to replace it with something better/ pricier/ cooler/ more exotic. Every single time I come back to my Mythical Overdrive, probably the most dynamic pedal on my board.

Which one do you happen to use ?
