car,truck,trailer,or in Matt's case a semi.:D

I have a 12'x7'Wells Cargo combo hauling/vending trailer/portable man cave.lol the guy I bought it from used it for motorcycle rallys so it ramps down in the back.
it also doubles for my BBQ & concession gigs. pulled by a 2005 GMC envoy 4x4.

A box trailer would be ideal, plenty of room and protected from the weather.

saw this vid a while back you could warm up on the way to an out door gig.:thumb:

Thats a great Idea. I'm using my Windstar. The only thing that sucks is having to take the rear seats in the house and then back to the van because I have no garage.

Nice rig blues,

How is the braking with that? I mean, does the trailer have brakes?

I'm worried that trailer - if full of gear - could push you down a steep hill at high speed, smoke pouring from the brakes of your GMC.

As for the original question: all the gear seems to accumulate at my house, Rhodes, PA, bass amps etc... so it's usually a hired truck or large van.

Haven't had many gigs so far but it's starting to heat up. I don't really want to own a van or truck these days so I suppose we're stuck with hiring for now.

I play in 2 bands on a reg basis,...luckily i have enough shit that i can keep 2 4x12's in the metal band trailor, 2 4x12's in the classic rock trialor, 1 4x12 and a jubilee at the metal band rehersal studio, and still have a couple 4x12's and 2203's to jam with at home :)

Then i just haul my head, pedalboard, 4sp rack, cordbag, and guitars in the back seat of my crew cab Dodge Dakota. Works out really well.
