This isn't my actual amp, but it's exactly like my first one, which I still own today. Mine is a 1986 model 5010 30w solid state.

In all my 25+ years of playing, I've never owned anything but Marshall amps!

I'll see if I can find a pic...and not cry...
The first amp I owned and didn't borrow was an old Fender Twin. I borrowed $600 to buy it at 18% interest when I was 18. Too clean for me as I never got to turn it up...so I got rid of it...First stupid gear dump I have ever done.

Ahh I totally have one of these in my shop right now waiting for pickup. They don't sound half bad for solid state amps!

My first:

I had one of the early versions of this.

Univox 1221 w/ 1005 2x12 cabinet. She's been through some repairs, modifications and speaker changes, but I still own her:

1988 - I had borrowed amps until then so I had a few opportunities to try different amps before the purchase. I wish I still had the 2203.

2009 - I have played through a few other amps since then but I still go back to this one. Wouldn't mind getting another 2203.

Still have it, it is nice for just messing around.

Now I'll post my first tube amp,

60s-sano-supersonic.jpg

Mine looks something like that, with different grill cloth, and a black control panel, and a cloth handle.

A 1963 Sano Supersonic, my grandfather bought it new for accordion gigs in 1963. Really great jazz tones, and really good distortion.

The Master Lead Combo was my first decent amp. I had an all plastic Sears jobby before that I got as an Xmas gift when I first started playing, then borrowed a traynor for awhile, then saved up and bought myself the above amp Clammy posted.
