Hi,
In my free time I love to record music and of course play guitar.
Owned a JCM800 when I was in my teens and exchanged it for a 90001 tube pre-amp with a 8080 valve state (yeah somethings you regret).
I also still own the 70's cab with black back speakers (sounds amazing).
I like the 90001 but it is not perfect.
So I recently bought a DSL20H which I think captures the sound I was looking for perfectly.
Other favourite amps are a Vox Brian May nanotube and Carvin V3 with one channel modified with a Legacy layout.
Recording is mostly done with a Capture X running through an X32 into Logic.
Music is under my name :Frank Doorhof on band lab or streaming services.
In "real life" I'm a photographer and educator.
