Congrats man! I'm jealous!

I almost snagged a '72 priced around $1,800 but it sold beneath me. I was kinda obsessed for a few days but couldn't find any decent 70s strats below $3,000, ended up getting my SV20H.

The last 2 70's strats I played were great! I love the CBS headstock and the functionality of the bullet truss.

Another fan of the big headstock Strat...especially the maple fret boards. 7.1lbs is super light too. Helluva deal, IMHO.

My '81 is an absolute tank at 10+ lbs.

That’s a bummer, but at least you got a Marshall.

I had a 76 more than 10 years ago but it was kind of a dog. Very heavy and it didn’t play very well.

The Olympic White is a 2012 and the black is a 2009.

Nice looking guitars, I like the big headstock too! I'd like to find a big headstock neck with rosewood fretboard for my Strat.
