I was wondering if you were going to let it stay as is , or re tolex the cab . did you find a new speaker for the one with the nick in it ?

Here's mine. It's a 2012 ash FSR, but there's not much besides the body and neck that are original. The pickup is a Dimarzio Super Distortion T, and the switch gives series, split, and parallel voicings.

I repaired the small poke in the speaker cone, and I glued all the existing tolex flaps back to the cab. I’m going to leave it road worn. I did add some casters. I’ve got a couple neo creambacks I’m going to mix with the g1235 L sometime this week.

I've had quite a few Teles over the years. (Vintage and reissues) In fact, my first electric was a Tele. (1968 maple cap in blond )

Sounds Like a Plan , I think the creambacks will work well with the 35s , I would probably put them both on the bottom side by side and the 35s on top , but what ever you decide it should sound good .
