He had the chance to get a second! The cross from Müller was only inches away from him :(

I don't think so.
Although I have a bit of an aversion against Spanish teams (oddly enough not against individual sporters such as cyclists) I think they'll demolish Italy.

Gr,

Italy ain't gonna get domolished - Spain's goin' down! :D

I wanted Italy to win.

Shame they didn't, I felt they played football with more intent.

Barcelona/Spain - they really bore me! too much possession, too many passes, not enough shots and certainly not enough goals to justify it.

I hope Italy and Croatia go through. In fact, I really like Italy this year.

- Pirlo
- Buffon
- Di rossi
- Di Natale
- Balotelli

I really like those players.

It's really beautiful though when they execute perfect passes and score. Their goal vs Italy was amazing to watch

Italians we're incredible defensively, and a key point, while Spain did hold possession for close to 55-60% of the game, the Italians were far more effective in hitting the net with their shots. Not many balls made it to Buffon.

Not to mention Balotelli's fucking waste of a break away there...lolly-gagin without even getting a shot off! lol

Yea lots of shot opportunities for both teams but neither of them really took advantage of it and a lot of times passed it back out
