Trouble with TSL

hey dudes, my amps giving me trouble (its a tsl 100 head), when i start it up it works. When i start to strum on the clean channel it distorts then fades and cuts out, the more i play the faster it cuts out (sometimes making horrible noises). I've done a lot of work on guitars but not so much with amps, any suggestions would be much appreciated as i'm booked for recording in a couple of weeks and i don't have enough cash for a repairer.cheers

Retube the whole thing, i would suspect your power tubes and or your preamp tube, i.e. V1 preamp which is the one with the metal cover. Good luck.
