I have been looking for a JMP mk2 50 watt master volume head and found one in the UK. The seller wants 490 pounds for it (shipping to the Netherlands included) and he claims it's perfectly working, the amp doesn't have any failures. See the added effectsloop... and power tubes are National Electronic EL34's, never heard of those!

What do you think? Can you experts spot any downsides? Should I go for it or leave it?

Great amps. Put a good booster in front of it and u r ready to rock. I rocked these amps in the 80s. 490 GBP i think is a fair price considering its condition.

Those are the Marshalls we pretty much used
all the time in the late 70's and early 80s in
the rock scene

I have the same amp in the 2x12 combo version and I love it! I use it when the venue is too small for 100 watts and I can get it back from my son. Mine was made in 1978 and I bought it for $400.00 U.S. in 1990.
