At the moment:

Gibson Flying V (tuned down to B) -> Maxon OD808 -> Marshall DSL 50 -> Zilla Super Fatboy (2x12") loaded with V30's

Green channel crunch mode gives me heavy Sabbath riffing, switching to the Red channel Lead 1 for Bolt Thrower style death metal rifing

Gibson SG Standard -> Orange Rocker 30 Combo for standard tuning (no pedals)

Basic standard signal chain as follows:

Guitar > Korg Pitch Black tuner > clean boost > OD > Eventide Time factor

Select from the following depending on music, amp and cab:

Guitars - Tele, Strat, Les Paul, EVH Axis, EBMM Axis, Wolfgang or Universe
Boosts - one of MXR Micro amp or xotic Effects EP Booster
ODs - one of Boss SD1, MXR Wylde OD or xotic Effects BB Preamp
Eventide - through front unless its the Cornford where its the loop
MXR noise gate through the loop if using Cornford or the 6505

Sometimes insert:
EVH wah before boosts
MXR phase 90 or Boss CE5 before delay
Behringer volume pedal after delay

cheers,

Matt.

That cab on the right is BEAUTIFUL.

Thanks...... I love cranking the whole thing.

Funny story......
Just before our band played Laconia Bike Week this year, I had the whole thing set up in our downstairs family room (shown in the photo) going over everything. I've got it cranked, banging out some AC/DC and my 9 year old stepson comes into the room with his hands over his ears, yelling at me.... "seriously, seriously Bill, do you really have to play THAT LOUD!!"

I was getting yelled at by a 9 year old for being too loud.. I loved it!:headbanger:

1967 SG Special/1998 Classic Series Strat -->Crybaby --> Rat2 --> Marshall 1987 --> Greenbacks

I've ordered parts to mod my 1987 with a PPIMV, so then the RAT2 might be left off.

Of course, I suck and don't gig....

Firebird/LP----> Radial Headbone---->Orange Rockerverb 50///Vox AC30CCH---->Back To the Headbone----->1960BV (V30's)

Each of the amps has a TC Electronics G Major in the FX loop and all the effects and channel switching is handled by the G-Major via a Behringer Midi Footswitch.

The cool thing is that I have each part in the song programmed to a different patch on the controller and each bank is a separate song so like #1 - intro, #2 - Vs, #3 - Chorus, #4 Bridge, etc.. then on each bank #10 is the tuner mute, #9 is the tap tempo, and #8 is the effects kill.

Plus first patch on each bank also sends a signal to the Antares Auto tune to tell it which key that particular song is in.

It was a GIGANTIC pain in the ass to program for the first time, but made life on stage as a lead singer/guitar player so much easier.
